Is lying morally wrong?
Lying can be both good and bad. It may lead to positive and negative consequenes. In one instance small lies can deal no harm to others, unlike the bigger ones that can cause severe problems. As long as the person that is being lied to doesn't know about it, it should be OK. On the other hand you can feel guilty about it and make you regret your choice of lying. If the person that is being lied to finds out about the truth it may lead you to lose trust from others.
So lying is fine if no one finds out you've lied? An interesting moral standpoint ... Does it apply to theft, cheating and murder too?
