Abraham Lincoln

    Abraham Lincoln as one of the most influential people in America's history. He was the 16th president of the USA, serving from 1861 until his assassination in 1865. He led the US through the American Civil war, helped reserve the union between the states, abolished slavery and modernized the economy.
    Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809 in Hodgenville, Kentucky. When he was 9 his mom died at age of 34 of milk sickness. He had two siblings (an older sister and a younger brother) who died in their infancy.
    In 1961 he became the president and led the Northern States to vitory during the Civil War. After winning the war he abolished slavery after realising its cruel and inhumane.
   On 15th April 1865 he was assassinated druing a show in Ford Theater, Washington DC. He was taken to the Petersen House and laid in a coma for nine hours before dying the next morning.

Maladaptive daydreaming

    Scientists estimate that an average person spends around 47% of their active time daydreaming. Doing so is considered healthy, as it enables us to slow down and collect our thoughts. Sleep disorders

 Sleep disorders are conditions that influence the quality and amount of sleep that you get. Everyone can have problems falling asleep once in a while but sleep disorders tend to stretch for long periods of time. Usually as result, even though you’ve slept a healthy, recommended amount of time, you can experience weariness and fatigue. There are around 80 different types of sleep disorders but most common types are insomnia, sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. Insomnia prevents you from falling asleep, sleep apnea influences your breathing patterns while in slumber, restless legs syndrome is a type of sleep movement disorder, and narcolepsy makes you fall asleep during the day due to extreme exhaustion. Sleep apnea

     Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder which repeatedly prevents or stops its victim from breathing. The disease cannot kill people but the complications can shorten ones lifespan. It dramatically lowers ones sleep quality and makes it almost impossible to wake up well rested.      There are three different types of sleep apnea - obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea and complex sleep apnea syndrome. The first occurs when ones throat muscles relax. The second happens when our brain doesn't send proper signals to muscles that control breathing. The last one is a combination of the first two and is the most lethal.      Loud snoring, gasping for air during sleep, waking up with a dry mouth and hypersomnia are common symptoms of sleep apnea.
